谈及角色调整，琼斯表示：“说实话，就是做好准备投篮，准备好让对手的防守付出代价。他们（布克和杜兰特）吸引了大量的防守注意力。我要更多地去打无球，多做一些掩护。总之就是按照球队的要求去做任何事。”

赛季至今，琼斯场均得到12.2分2.6篮板6助攻1抢断。
