曼联这一次没有选择和往常一样走陆路前往南部，而是选择坐包机，据了解，整个旅途的时间还不到30分钟。布鲁诺-费尔南德斯、马奎尔、麦克托米奈和教练范尼斯特鲁伊等人都在机场被拍到。抵达当地机场后，曼联将士们将乘坐大巴赶最后一段路程，约30英里。

2021年曼联曾短途飞行去莱斯特城客场，那一次行程只有10分钟，并因此遭到了许多批评，但俱乐部表示那是因为高速公路堵塞，才决定坐飞机出发。
